Set working hours, and take a day off

Tell the diary when each person works, so only those times are offered online, and block out a holiday or an afternoon.

Checked against the app on

Clients can only book the times somebody is working. Hours are set per person, and per outlet if you have more than one, because somebody covering two sites keeps different days at each.

  1. Open working hours

Shop → Working hours. If you run the shop you can set hours for anyone on the team; choose the person at the top. Someone renting a chair sets their own.

  2. Switch each day on or off

Each day has a switch. A day switched off is a day off every week. For a working day, set when it opens and when it closes, in 24-hour time.

  3. Save

The change applies from now. Bookings already made on a day you have just switched off are not moved — the diary shows them so you can ring the client.

A holiday, or an afternoon off

For a one-off, use Diary → Block off time. Say what it is for, who it is for, the date and the hours, and nothing can be booked in that time. A whole day is from opening to closing. For a fortnight, block each day; a longer closure is best handled by switching the days off and back on.
