About
A fair question, and one most booking software answers with a mission statement. Here is the plain version: who makes it, what it refuses to do, and how to reach somebody.
Who builds it
Not a founding story. Just the facts you would want before putting your week's work through somebody else's software.
Wunderhand is built and run by Paradigm Shift Multimedia Ltd, a London software studio that has spent over a decade building for other businesses and runs several products of its own. Company number 17048990, registered at 25 Wharf Street, London SE8 3GG. It was designed and is developed by Michael Adeleye, who founded it.
Write about something broken and it goes to somebody who can open the file, not to a queue and a tier-one script. Ask for something and you get a real answer about whether it will be built, which is not a sentence a shop hears often from the software it pays for.
Every screen here was made against a working diary. The parts that were wrong were wrong in front of somebody and got changed, which is why the deposit rules, the waiting list and the no-show handling look the way they do rather than the way they look everywhere else.
Wunderhand is younger than the software it is competing with, and that is the trade: fewer years of accumulated features, far less time between a shop asking for something and having it. Several things on this site exist because one person asked for them.
Why there is no cut
A company paid a slice of every appointment needs those appointments to pass through it. Everything it builds points that way in the end — your clients become its clients, its marketplace comes first, and the price of leaving is your client list.
We charge for the software. The bill is the same in a busy month and a quiet one, because it has nothing to do with your takings — which means nothing here has a reason to get between you and the person in your chair.
Deposits go to your own Stripe account, in your own name. We are not in the middle holding it, and there is no balance here to be released to you.
Export it whenever you like, in a file another system can read. Software that is only kept because leaving is painful is not being chosen, and we would rather know.
Getting hold of us
Not a queue, not a chatbot, and not a form that promises a reply within five working days.
mike@wunderhand.com for anything about the software, the price, or something that is not working.
legal@wunderhand.com reaches whoever handles a question about personal data — yours, or your clients’. What we hold and why is set out on the privacy page, and the short version is that your clients are yours: we hold their details on your behalf and do nothing else with them.
Paradigm Shift Multimedia Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Our terms are on the terms page and we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under C2025422.
Drop your client list in and see your own regulars on the screen. It works without an account, it costs nothing, and you can close the tab afterwards.
